Serving Suggestion Nougat Marquise CakeIngredients250 g dark chocolate 150 g butter 75 ml nougat liqueur 3 egg yolk 300 ml whipping cream Cake base: 210 g roasted sliced almonds 120 g dark chocolate 210 g nougat paste Method Base: In bain-marie melt chocolate and nougat paste. Mix in the almonds. Place baking dish over baking paper, on a tray. Line the baking dish with 1/2 cm of cake base, make sure there are no holes and place in the fridge. Cake: In bain-marie melt chocolate and butter. Whisk egg yolk and liqueur together and add to the chocolate. Whip the cream. Mix all the ingredients folding them in and pour into baking dish. Refrigerate for a few hours. Before serving sprinkle cocoa over the top. This can also be made in individual moulds. |
